[Key fact] The WIN got 2 new partners!

During the second internal meeting of the WIN (held on December 7, 2016), the network members have been agreed to include 2 new research partners: the National Institute of Infectious Diseases , Japan represented by Dr Shinji Kasai & Dr Kyoko Sawabe and the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute represented by Dr Pie Muller . The WIN is now composed of 18 research partners across the world including 6 Low-and Middle-Income Countries, LMICs (Brazil, French Guiana, Iran,  India, Mali, Thailand) with complementary expertise in insecticide resistance (from vector biology and control to resistance diagnostic tools and spatial modeling). In a second phase, the network whishes to develop Regional focal point with the aim to develop a locally adaptive strategy for tracking down insecticide resistance in mosquito vectors of arboviruses.
