Assessment of costs for facilities and capacities to perform insecticide resistance testing on mosquitoes at national level
In the frame of the
WHO Global Vector Control Response: 2017-2030
(GVCR), the Worldwide Insecticide resistance Network
has been commissioned by WHO-TDR
to evaluate the costs for reinforcing the capacity of the countries to monitor insecticide resistance in mosquitoes.
Objectives
The overall objective of this study is to provide a cost assessment of the existing facilities and capacities to perform insecticide resistance testing on mosquitoes
, and an estimate of the needs for an effective monitoring
of the insecticide resistance patterns at national, regional and international level.
The WIN will design and disseminate an online-questionnaire
for data recording to the countries, affected by mosquitoes-borne diseases, represented at the World Health Assembly.
